New Year, New Beginning

I wanted to share something out of the book that makes alot of sense....about how some of us lose that attachment and how it should really be referred too. I know some of you know this and live by it every second of your life, but I wasn't to an extent.

"Everything that God created, from the elements in the heavens down to the last detail on Earth, was called out of something. He called light out of darkness; He called land out of water; He called fish out of the ocean, animals out of the dust of the ground, and plants out of the earth. All of these things have a relationship dependant upon their souce. For example, a fish is dependant on water to survive. Plants must remain in contact with the ground in order to grow. An animal designed to live and breathe on land will drown if you force it to exist under water, where it was not created to go. Why? Because th earth and water are the foundational sources for animals, plants and fish.
Your source is none other than God. You were created to remain in contact with Him. You were created from the substance of the Almighty, and because of this fact, you, like all other created things, cannot properly survive or function apart front your foundational source. If you remove a fish from water or plant from the ground, it will lose its identity. They cease to exist in the way they were created. The same is true with you and me. Remove us from our source, which is almighty God, and we cease to grow and produce. Sure, we may become something else, but we have lost our true identity."

It has been a really long time since I updated. It has been very busy at my home! The boys are all doing great! Flag football has started so we are busy with that... Trae is QB and throwing some long passes and running a few touchdown's. He is loving it! Austin gets to play QB when they have to throw long passes, the coach says he throw's bombs! He also played receiver at his last game.

Austin is reading much better in school but still needs more tutoring. He is great in math but has struggled with grasping reading. He is such a good student and tries very hard. Austin has so many friends and is teacher's pet.

Trae is doing great in school and really has no hang ups so far. His teacher wants him to be tested for the gifted and talented program next March. On the ITBS test he scored 99% which she said it way above normal. Most kids apparently score a 50% on it. His grades are all A's and she said his drawings are unbelievable. Paul's mom and sister's are to thank for that! His mom and sister's are all artists. He keeps everything he draws and puts it in an album I bought him.

Hayden is as active as ever! That boy doesn't stop! He loves it outside and will play out there all day if he could. He is talking so much and has a very cute personality. He is definately my "make up" child. He does everything that the first two didn't! He gets into everything and climbs on everything! He likes to keep mommy on her toes!

Paul has been working late every night this week! We are both so tired. Here are some pics to enjoy!

Keep my Aunt Susan and Aunt Wig in your prayers! They were both admitted to the hospital and need prayers. Thank you!
